Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) is a Medicaid program that provides services to medically fragile children under the age of 21 in need of skilled nursing care and personal care support in their homes and community. GAPP is not a waiver but state planned services. Families eligible for Medicaid can apply for GAPP and do not need to meet the same level of care as they would in a skilled nursing facility or an institution. They just need to have a medical necessary need. However, all request for services must go through a medical review. We understand the challenge, and glad to announce that we provide these services.
Services include:
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration & temperature
- Assistance with ambulation & transfers
- IV therapies
- Wound care
- Tube feedings
- Gastrointestinal disorders
